While the world began equal, created in the hands of the elements, an order soon fell into place among the creatures. As hills grew into mountains, brooks to rivers, lakes to seas, and small woodlands to forests, the creatures grew as well, and settled into this orders, just as the elements, the stars, and the moon. Within this order, the wolf was crafted and born. The wolf was made to hunt and run and thrive, passing on instinct and word to their offspring and descendants. The wolf was made to do this, and so nothing could stop it, not even Man, that flourished beyond its humble beginnings.
Freedom is the birthright of the wolf. It was inscribed in stone, in the deepest set of laws possessed by the wilderness and the open lands. So run, wolf, thrive, hunt, and grow your packs. Your paws will leave their own marks for others to follow. It is your age, so make it so.

Yes, we have rules too. Why? Simply to make sure there's order. But once you know the rules, you won't have to recall them!
General
01. Treat all users with respect. If there is a conflict, take it to a staff member, not the Cbox or IC posts.
02. Do not spam or double post. Spamming will result in a warning. Do not double post in an IC topic.
03. This site is, at the most, rated PG-13. No obscenity is to be posted here, although you may swear to a MINIMUM in IC posts.
04. Please, do not use chatspeak, IC or OOC. (ttyl, brb, etc.)
05. Do a check spelling before you post and try to use proper grammar! It helps a lot in the whole.
06. An important rule: be active. That means at least 1 IC post a week if you can. If you know you can't or won't, then don't join. Sorry, but activity is a basis of roleplaying. If you are inactive for more than 60 days without posting in the absence board, your account will be deleted.
07. Please, don't argue with a staff. If you're asked to fix something, it makes it a whole lot easier if you just fix it.
In Character
01. There is a 250 word limit for posts. Use the word counter in the side bar to check your post lengths. If you can't match it, then at least try to match the lengths of the posts in your thread.
02. You have 1 week after you join to post your character's application. And if you leave a bio in -WIP- for more than a week, it will be deleted.
03. IC posts must be in either 1st or 3rd person.
04. Please follow a posting order in your threads.
05. As long as they don't interfere with each other, your wolf can be in two places at once. Yes, liquid time.
06. No flaming, powerplaying, or god-modding, period.
07. Seeing as this is a literate-advanced roleplay, please try and match that level.
08. One account per character. Please join with the name of that character.
Breeding
01. No graphic breeding...or birthing for that matter. Ew.
02. Love at first site just does not exist here. You must have been in at least two-three threads with your love first.
03. Wolves mate during the winter, and birth during the spring-summer. Lynx mate during the late winter, and birth during the spring. Remember this.
04. Only wolves and lynx over 2 years old can breed.
05. Once both parents have agreed to mate, you must post an application in the "New Life" board and wait for the stats of the offspring.
06. Wolves and lynx under 1 year double age. 1 week is a month until they are 1 years of age.
